- 2 cups beef broth

For Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Salisbury Steaks:
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into four oval patties.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Make Mushroom Sauce:
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until golden.
- Sprinkle flour and stir to blend.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly, and add Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes to thicken. Return patties to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Prepare Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
- Boil potatoes and garlic in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes).
- Drain, then mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble and Serve:
- Serve Salisbury Steaks topped with mushroom sauce alongside the garlic mashed potatoes.
